Job Overview

The Enrollment Services Manager leads and executes our pre-arrival conversion activities in the EMEA region (Africa, Europe, Middle East and Russia/CIS). Based in Dubai, the Enrollment Services Manager works as part of a highly motivated professional team and is responsible for regional visa success, overall conversion, pre-arrival completion and arrival of students on campus. The Enrollment Services Manager leads the regional-based Enrollment Services Advisors to support agents, prospective international students, and their families with the application, financial, visa, and pre-arrival processes to our partner universities and surrounding communities.

This position works closely with regional Recruitment Managers, admission and marketing/direct sales teams, and Shorelight’s partner campus teams to provide student-focused, optimal learning experiences and services that lead to student success.  Measures of success for this role include the ability to drive conversion from deposit to enrollment, high rate of pre-payment, high rate of visa issuance, and on-time arrival to campuses. The position directly reports to the Assistant Director of Enrollment Services.

Key Responsibilities

I-20 and Visa Preparation

  • Collaborate closely with admissions, agents and recruitment for all confirmed students to ensure efficient completion of required documents to achieve I-20s for students
  • Provide a comprehensive visa preparation service to students and agents including regular presentations to agencies, sharing of tips and best practices, and mock visa interviews with students to achieve high visa issuance rates
  • Track and analyze visa appointments, embassy processing times and student interview feedback to continuously enhance and adapt visa preparation according to current trends and insights

Team Leadership

  • Lead and execute the EMEA Enrollment Services strategy and plan that drives a culture of data-driven conversion efforts and concierge service across the enrollment funnel
  • Liaison with colleagues from various departments, including headquarters, IT, admissions, marketing, recruitment and campus teams, to drive technical improvement and facilitate resources  
  • Manage regional Enrollment Services staff and day-to-day service operations, including tracking performance and promoting continuous training to the regional ES team and effectively managing workflow as determined by enrollment cycles. 
  • Collaborate closely with admissions, agents and recruitment for all confirmed students to ensure efficient completion of required documents to achieve I-20s for students
  • Lead the onboarding and training of new enrollment services staff and provide enrollment services training to new recruitment team members in collaboration with the regional recruitment team
  • Act as key contact for the campus student services teams post arrival to help the regional teams communicate with channel partners/parents to assist with any follow-on activities post enrollment (i.e. student attendance, performance etc.)   

Pre-Departure Process and Stakeholder / Student Family Engagement & Management

  • Design, manage and facilitate an engaging and informative pre-departure concierge service for students, parents and agencies
  • Participate with the planning and implementation of pre-departure events (online and offline)
  • Ensure students within the regional pipeline are meeting financial obligations (90% pre-payment) and completing the required pre-arrival tasks and documentation prior to arrival to ensure a smooth enrollment
  • Apply a methodological approach to conversion and pre-arrival activities and engage in a variety of proactive activities to ensure students progress through the conversion process
  • Build a strong rapport with key channel partners, partner campus teams, admissions and any other key stakeholders
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of current programs, products, processes, and policies
  • Demonstrate expertise in all steps of the admissions process

 Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Provide key partner’s VIP service, including customized reports, regular update of student progress, and in agent office visits
  • Analyze data in order to provide ongoing weekly updates, reports and forecasts to the Assistant Director of Enrollment Services and the Regional team for all students
  • Be the point of information and clarity on all conversion activities and student status
  • Maintain a database of respective regional students to track their status and progression to enrollment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area
  • 5+ years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking English
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking Arabic preferred
  • Experience managing/leading a team
  • Proven ability to multi-task, balance priorities, set and manage timelines for deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in a matrix governance model
  • Strategic-minded and sales-driven, strong drive for results, pressure-resilient
  • High proficiency with technology and reporting programs/systems, specifically Salesforce
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail and data-oriented

Job Overview

The Recruitment Manager, MENA executes student recruitment, and pre-arrival conversion activities across MENA, targeted at international students seeking a U.S. university degree.  The role will include channel development and account management of a regional network of direct and indirect accounts, along with building and managing student campaigns and pre-arrival processes, spanning the entire application cycle start to finish, that successfully drive enrollments to Shorelight’s university partners.

This position is based in Dubai in MENA and directly reports to the Regional Director, EMEA.

Essential Functions

Business Development and Relationship Management

  • Help build and drive execution on Shorelight’s regional student recruitment strategies, partnering with members of the sales, marketing, admissions, and enrollment services teams to achieve regional goals and ensure end-to-end student conversion
  • Grow and manage key channel accounts and partnerships to achieve enrollment targets for all university partnerships
  • Develop and grow government sponsored and non-sponsored/private business in the region
  • Travel extensively to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars, conferences, meetings, and training events.  Build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, faculty, staff, agents, partners and other external institutions and vendors. 
  • Work effectively with the university liaisons to ensure smooth entry into the school or program (working with Finance on incoming deposits, tracking of payments, processing of agent contracts and commissions as necessary, assisting with form completion, coordinating arrival transportation for new incoming students, etc.)

Visa / Pre-Arrival Program

  • Provide a comprehensive visa preparation service including regular presentations, sharing of tips and best practices, and mock interviews with direct and indirect audiences to achieve industry-leading visa issuance rates for current students in your pipeline
  • Track and analyze visa appointments, embassy processing times and student interview feedback to continuously enhance and adapt visa preparation according to current trends and insights
  • Manage national key accounts for VIP enrollment service
  • Collaborate closely with admissions, agents and recruitment for all confirmed students to ensure efficient completion of required documents to achieve I-20s for students 
  • Ensure student’s financial obligations are met by facilitating payments of tuition and other associated fees before departure – achieving 90% pre-payment
  • Ensure agents/students and their families complete and submit pre-arrival forms and documentation to campuses, with a focus on the transportation form so campus teams can effectively manage the arrival process
  • Work with recruitment, students and agencies to ensure on-time arrival of students to campus for orientation

Process and Data Management

  • Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment, monitoring enrollment trends, and reporting on all phases of recruitment process to the Regional Director, utilizing technology systems
  • Maintain maximum levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Execute on efficient and streamlined processes for all stages of the recruitment process (inquiry, application, assessment, offer, acceptance, visa applications, orientation, etc.) with strong focus on conversion of inquiries to applications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent in Arabic, speaking, reading and writing
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area
  • 3-5 years of experience in the international education/recruitment

The Program Coordinator supports the Shorelight Live American Collegiate Program, which provides first year, US curriculum to students in their home countries in partnership with US universities.  The Live technology offers hybrid higher education programs that combine the immersive U.S. university experience with technology-enabled, in-country, live-lecture learning.  The position will facilitate live classes through the operation of interactive technology, coordination across remote program management teams, and develop and support student services.

Essential Functions

Operations

  • Coordinate with local operations team to provide technical support during live lectures
  • Participate in recruitment demo preparation, testing, and setup, and facilitate day of demo operations as needed
  • Contribute to student services operations to ensure that systems and procedures are followed and technology is used to streamline system and procedures
  • Troubleshoot student learning experience issues in real time during live lectures. Escalate and follow through to resolution as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of full-time work experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, depending on class and demo schedule
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in higher education advising, student services, customer service, or hospitality

The Country Manager (CM), Saudi Arabia leads the execution of the student recruitment strategy across Saudi Arabia that targets international students seeking U.S. university degrees. Essential Functions

  • Execute Shorelight university partners’ student recruitment strategies, partnering with Recruitment Managers as well as Shorelight’s global marketing team for all marketing and advertising strategies and collateral
  • Help manage key channel accounts and partnerships to achieve enrollment targets for all university partnerships
  • Follow a data-driven approach to recruitment, monitoring enrollment trends and report on all phases of recruitment process to the Regional Director.  
  • Maintain high levels competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Travel extensively to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars, conferences, meetings, and training events to build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, faculty, staff, agents, partners, and other external institutions and vendors

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sales, marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area
  • 5+ years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry in Saudi Arabia or MENA market.

The Admissions Officer manages inbound applications to our partner universities. The Admissions Officer reports to the Admissions Manager and assists with the communication between Shorelight representatives in the field and the central Admissions office. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and initially process applications from the regional team in India.

Job Overview

The Regional Partnership Manager, MENA is a channel development leader who is in charge of searching and signing new business partner/channel within their given region, to support regional recruitment team to expand its channel network and increase points of sales for all Shorelight programs.  Reporting to the Regional Director, MENA, the Regional Partnership Manager, MENA will focus on identification of channel and partner opportunities, pitching, negotiating and forming partnership agreements with these channels, and then ensuring a healthy business yield from those new channels/partners.

Essential Functions

Channel Development

  • Lead the initial approach to new channel/partner, then following an agreed engagement process, in collaboration with Recruitment Manager, pitch and negotiate through to contract and a sales goal.

Essential Functions

Business Partnership

  • Develop in-depth understanding of the region to translate strategic and tactical business plans into talent-oriented plans
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR and recruitment strategies to support business initiatives and deliver results
  • Provide support in a strategic and value-added manner in areas that impact the attraction, development, and retention of talent
  • Develop and foster relationships at all levels within the region; serve as a trusted advisor to all regional staff
  • Collaborate with larger HR team to align practices across global organization
  • Serve as change agent and champion in support of HR and business-related initiatives
  • Partner with local leadership on organizational design, skills assessment, workforce, and succession planning

 

Talent Management

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for the region, in partnership with Talent Acquisition
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies that align with short- and long-term workforce plans
  • Use a variety of channels and methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the region’s recruiting process
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for the region, including drafting employment documents, coordinating new-hire training schedules, handling all visa requirements, and closing out all employment-related matters for departing employees
  • Partner with managers to ensure employees are positioned for success (e.g., through performance planning, goal setting, development plans, evaluations, and offboarding)

Employee Relations

  • Work with managers and employees throughout the region to coach, facilitate problem solving, and develop employee relations practices that contribute to and enhance workplace culture, fostering a positive environment
  • Provide counsel and ensure prompt resolution of all legal-related matters, ensuring that appropriate parties are consulted throughout the process
  • Provide support for all talent-related activities in the region, including in-country support when needed
  • Develop tools to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee relations issues
  • Collect and analyze internal and external data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience
  • Collaborate with local partners across the region to align and improve global HR policies and practices, ensuring compliance with local laws

Other Duties

  • Manage relationship with logistics provider in Dubai
  • Act as point of contact with Dubai’s free zone authority for all employment-related maters
  • Manage employee programs, including performance management, professional development, employee benefits, and compensation
  • Prepare monthly payroll for the region in conjunction with the Finance department in HQ
  • Perform other ad hoc HR duties and projects as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
  • 7+ years’ combined experience in recruitment and business partnership
  • Working knowledge of core HR functional areas, including compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance
  • Experience developing and delivering customer-focused HR services and programs in a global company
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in communicating changes within the organization and coaching team members and managers to help them navigate change
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships throughout an organization despite geographic and time zone challenges
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
  • Open minded, resilient, good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to travel in region as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or certificate degree in business or human resources management
  • Experience developing talent management programs
  • Experience preparing payroll and managing employee benefits plans
  • Experience working in a UAE free zone

 Job Overview

The Enrollment Services Advisor leads and executes our pre-arrival conversion activities in the MENA region. Based in our Dubai regional office, the Enrollment Services Advisor works as part of a highly motivated professional team and is responsible for regional visa success and overall conversion and arrival of new students on campus.

This position works closely with recruiters, admission and marketing/D2C teams, and Shorelight’s partner campus teams to provide student-focused, optimal learning experiences and services that lead to student conversion. Measures of success for this role include the ability to drive conversion from deposit to enrollment, high rate of pre-payment, high rate of visa issuance, and on-time arrival to campuses. A large proportion of this sales and service role is speaking with applicants, parents and agents via online chat platform, email, telephone daily. The position directly reports to the Enrollment Services Manager, MENA.
 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • I-20 and Visa Preparation
    • Collaborate closely with agents and admissions and recruitment teams for all confirmed students to ensure efficient completion of required documents to achieve I-20s for students
    • Provide a comprehensive visa preparation service to students and agents, including regular presentations to agencies, sharing of tips and best practices, and mock interviews with students to achieve a 95%+ visa issuance rate
    • Track and analyze visa appointments, embassy processing times, and student interview feedback to continuously enhance and adapt visa preparation according to current trends and insights
  • Pre-Departure Process and Activity Management
    • Design, manage, and facilitate an engaging and informative pre-departure concierge service for students, parents, and agencies
    • Participate with the planning and implementation of pre-departure events (online and offline)
    • Ensure students’ financial obligations are met by facilitating payments of tuition and other associated fees before departure
    • Ensure agents/students and their families complete and submit pre-arrival forms and documentation to campuses, with a focus on the transportation form, so campus teams can effectively manage the arrival process
    • Work with recruitment team, students, and agencies to ensure on-time arrival of students to campus for orientation
    • Serve as the main point of contact for all subregional agents and students in the pre-arrival phase
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Provide key partner’s VIP service, including customized reports, regular update of student progress, and in-agent office visits
    • Analyze data to provide ongoing weekly updates, reports, and forecasts to the Enrollment Services Manager and regional team for all students
    • Be the point of information and clarity on all conversion activities and student status
    • Maintain a database of respective subregional students to track their status and progression to enrollment
  • Stakeholder/Student Family Engagement and Management
    • Manage and maintain regional agent/student online enquiry platforms
    • Build a strong rapport with students, parents, channel partners, partner campus teams, admissions, and any other key stakeholders
    • Maintain a database of assigned students to track their status and progress toward arrival
    • Act as key contact for the campus student services teams post-arrival to help communicate with channel partners/parents to assist with any follow-on activities post-enrollment (e.g., student attendance, performance)

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in writing and speaking English and Arabic
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent ability to motivate self and work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively by meeting quality standards
  • Effective time management skills, sense of urgency, and ability to plan and prioritize daily activities
  • Strong consultative skills and demonstrated ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and demonstrate accountability
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem solving skills, complemented by good judgment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior education sales/enrollment experience
  • Working knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Experience living, working, or studying overseas
