Job Overview

Shorelight Education is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the execution of international marketing to initiate direct-to-student marketing campaigns, manage localized marketing, to drive student enrollments to Shorelight’s university partners from the following regions – Middle East and North Africa.

We are looking for a data-driven inbound marketer to support the marketing funnel for your region. You will be supporting activities related to attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing to close those leads into enrollments. 

This position will work closely with Shorelight’s regional marketing team in Dubai & HQ marketing team, to support the localized marketing activities to drive recruitment of international students from the region. The Marketing coordinator will be a creative thinker and doer with independent judgment, who will use data to help to manage the execution of these plans with a team of support staff and vendors.

The position reports to the Marketing Manager, MENA.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, social channels, and analytics
  • Build, manage, segment and analyze various email lists and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in your email sends
  • Establish closed-loop analytics to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers
  • Conduct in-country events for these hot leads and convert them down funnel into an enrollment
  • Assist the Demand Gen team in executing the optimal Paid Marketing Strategy – involving SEM, Display Marketing, Paid Social (Facebook and local social media).
  • Form new partnerships with local publisher networks for advertising to drive student enrollments, and utilize third party vendors globally for lead partnerships
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers)
  • Collaborate with Shorelight’s marketing in the development of localized collateral to reflect including writing copy, and producing customer facing collateral.
  • Strong close relationship with student counseling team and assist in student conversion and enrollment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area.
  • Education Experience is a plus!
  • 2-4 years of tactical marketing experience with a strong digital market focus
  • Proficiency with marketing automation to convert leads into marketing qualified, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted enrollments.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, and other local media platforms  
  • Experience with web analytics, A/B testing, and inbound marketing tactics
  • Experience in implementing marketing plans
  • Ability to think independently, thoroughly, and critically in fast-paced contexts
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders from local, national, and international constituencies
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Eligible to work in the hiring location without sponsorship

Job Overview

The Enrollment Sales Counselor leads and executes our lead management and conversion activities in the Middle East North Africa region targeted at international students seeking a U.S. university degree. Based in Dubai, the Enrollment Counselor works as part of a highly motivated professional team and is responsible for D2C lead management and conversion of new students on campus.

The role primarily focuses on helping qualified potential international students to achieve their academic goals by advising, supporting, and enrolling them in one of Shorelight’s university partners programs. This position works closely with marketing/D2C teams to provide student-focused, optimal learning experiences and services that lead to student conversion.  Measures of success for this role include the ability to drive direct applications, conversion from offer to deposit, and conversion from deposit to enrollment. A large proportion of this sales and service role is speaking with applicants and parents via online chat platforms, email, and telephone daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Lead Management
    • Contribute to the growth of the business and to new student enrollments by assessing potential applicants and determining their eligibility to apply and enroll in various academic programs
    • Collaborate regularly with real-time feedback loops with India Digital Marketing
    • Manage digital campaigns, messaging, lead volume, and lead conversion activities
    • Use a consultative sales approach to guide and support prospective students through the enrollment process
    • Receive and follow up on potential students via phone, email, social media, and, where beneficial and feasible, in person
    • Build rapport with and guide students interested in obtaining a degree or certificate program based on prospective student’s desired goals or career interest
    • Provide a positive and superior student experience
    • Consistently seek opportunity to drive student growth by referrals
    • Maintain a high-level knowledge of current programs, products, processes, and policies
    • Demonstrate expertise in all steps of the admissions process
    • Understand and communicate the value propositions of our brands (and those of our competitors) to provide an excellent student experience by offering the right program
  • Conversion Activities
    • Drive new student enrollments from pipeline of student leads through conversion efforts
    • Execute on tailored conversion activities to drive conversion from sales-qualified lead to application, application to confirmation, and confirmation to enrollment via multiple platforms to reach enrollment goals
    • Leverage available tools and develop new tools that move students through the conversion process, including scholarships, student ambassador connections, webinars, testimonials, and campus visits
  • Tracking and Reporting
    • Leverage Salesforce CRM for tracking of assigned students to track their status and progress toward enrollment
    • Create consistent and observable documentation in Salesforce and throughout the student cycle of student engagement, activities, and processes
    • Maintain and keep updated an ongoing student pipeline status dashboard to provide ongoing updates and reports to the team on the health of the student pipeline

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior education sales/enrollment experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of CRM software, e.g. Salesforce, preferred
  • Ability to sell high-value consumer services or products
  • Proficient in writing and speaking English and Arabic. Russian is a plus. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must possess confident telephone presence
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively by meeting quality standards
  • Must possess effective time management skills, sense of urgency, and ability to plan and prioritize daily activities

Admission Officer

Job Overview

The Admissions Officer manages inbound applications to our partner universities. The Admissions Officer reports to the Admissions Manager and assists with the communication between Shorelight representatives in the field and the central Admissions office. The Admissions Officer must be a self-directed individual with excellent problem-solving, communication, and detail-orientation skills. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and initially process applications from the regional team in India.
  • Organize and deliver files under the direction of the Central Admissions office
  • Input data into the Shorelight CRM
  • Communicate directly with Shorelight representatives and agents when needed to complete application files
  • Other duties as directed by the Admissions Manager

Other Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Shorelight Written Information Security Policy, and all other Shorelight Information Security Policies and Procedures
  • Take responsibility for any Shorelight assets assigned to you
  • Promptly report any security events, incidents or weaknesses to Shorelight Security

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in international education-related field
  • Experience with the Indian educational system (Preferable)
  • Excellent English skills, including writing and speaking
  • Experience and familiarity with the broad spectrum of educational models in India.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and leading process

Assistant Manager Admissions

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises a team of Admissions Officers/Specialists/Assistants in their daily activities as directed by the Admissions Manager
  • Assesses student academic credentials, reviews application documents, evaluates and renders decisions for admission
  • Utilizes administrative systems to look-up admissions requirements, enter and maintain application data, and create reports to monitor workflow and application status
  • Assist with the defining, maintaining and communicating admissions processes and policies to/from Global or Campus Admissions, and Regional Admissions/Recruitment teams
  • Assist with other aspects of admissions operations as requested by the Global Admissions Operations team
  • Collaborates with the Manager, Admissions Operations, and regional Recruitment Director on region-specific admissions processes or projects.
  • Collaborates with Assistant Director of Training, Global Admissions Operations, to provide training and onboarding of new Admissions Team members

Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in English verbal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree in higher education, international education, or related field preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce, database systems, and Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Experience working in secondary or higher education industry
  • Knowledge of international post-graduate and undergraduate transcript and language credentials
  • Exemplary customer service, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative, perform multiple assignments, and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate and accomplish work goals
