Job Overview
The Data Integration Analyst supports external data integrations including customer facing Shorelight applications, customer integrations and vendor integrations; is an energetic team player who takes initiative and has a dedicated focus on high-level customer service.
The successful candidate will work with our currents teams to solidify and document our current processes. Additionally, they will keep a constant eye on our current data management and data integration processes with a critical eye, looking for opportunities for improvement.

The ability to envision and implement continual process improvement and high-level customer service skills is essential. He/She/They demonstrate exceptional technical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong teamwork ethic.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Information Technology.
 
Essential Functions
Technical and Implementation Efficiency
  • Implement and support data integrations between different Shorelight systems and between Shorelight and customers, and vendors, systems
  • Analyze project issues/gaps, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with IT leadership to implement potential solutions
  • Communicate constructive feedback to involved parties on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Create templates and standardized workflows that improve consistency of outcomes and efficiency
  • Monitor scheduled jobs and diagnose / resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot integration failures among enterprise front- and back-office applications (ERP, CRM, Financial, Planning, and other systems)
  • Work with users to answer integration related questions and diagnose points of failure
  • Maintain and develop strong technical expertise in key technologies in use within Shorelight
Support and Customer Service
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open issues at one time
  • Escalate tickets proactively to responsible specialists or senior team members
  • Provide weekly status reports for system performance and for projects that include project issues/gaps
  • Contribute to process documentation
  • Demonstrate initiative in recommending enhancements and improvements
  • Assume other duties as required
Security

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years in a technical role

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 4+ years in technical management, project management or related role

  • Understands the fundamentals of data integration processes among business systems and data warehouses in multiple DBMS environments, including cloud-based systems
  • Foundational SQL knowledge – ability to read and explain queries
  • Experience working with large-scale data warehousing.

Essential Functions

Salesforce Administration

  • Monitor, triage, and address incoming user requests using the IT Support Portal
  • Identify technical challenges and troubleshoot issues by devising immediate and long-term solutions
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, page layouts, data validation rules, flows, approval processes and installed packages
  • Facilitate data imports, database de-duping, and cleanups
  • Manage the integration of connected applications and packages, including but not limited to Marketo, Conga, Adobe Sign, In-house Admissions Portal, formstack and FormAssembly
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements as well as to propose solutions that leverage SFDC functionality
  • Translate approved solutions into actionable deliverables within the respective systems, ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
  • Monitor Salesforce releases and efficiently deploy new features from testing to production
  • Create and maintain user roles, profiles, and hierarchies
  • Ensure data integrity and system security by continually adopting Salesforce best practices
  • Monitor usage and provide guidance to users or groups needing assistance
  • Develop and update process documentation and field maps 
Security

Cybersecurity Compliance Management
·       Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity compliance policies, standards, and procedures
·       Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
·       Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify and remediate compliance gaps
·       Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during compliance audits and assessments

Risk Management and Governance

·       Participate in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
·       Oversee data security and data governance initiatives to protect sensitive information

Information Security
·       Working collaboratively with our Cloud Engineer, develop and maintain cloud security controls and best practices
·       Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams on secure-by-design coding practices, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and assessment, and remediation
·       Set up and maintain tools and sensors to detect various attacks and exploitation techniques targeted towards cloud platforms and applications running within them
·       Develop, facilitate, and distribute security training modules and corresponding security materials
·       Security incident response
 
Engineering (Preferred)
·       Maintain Docker container and Kubernetes security, including pod-security and network security policies
·       Support the DevOps and Engineering teams in developing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, GitHub, etc.
·       Manage security across various Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools/products such as, VPCs, Flowlog, CloudTrail, S3, Route53, Elb, CloudFront, and WAF
·       Partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to suggest improvements that increase application security
 
Minimum Qualifications
·       7+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, information security, or related fields
·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
·       Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
·       Experience managing security vendors and managed-services providers
·       Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
·       Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Risk Assessment, Network Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Data Security, and Data Governance
·       Excellent understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS)

The Business Systems Analyst analyzes existing systems for improvement, recommends new system processes, and keeps detailed reports of all structural and process changes.   • Manage, implement, and track progress of all technical components of existing and new partnership launches
  • Compile objectives for improving and streamlining company systems and software acquisitions
  • Provide system administration and integration support for SAAS business platforms and software
  • Monitor efficiency of partnership launches; identify and resolve gaps in documentation
  • Identify and guide technical teams to address issues in existing systems, and ensure upgrades and improvements are maintained, as necessary
  
Tracking and Analytics 
  • Document and create reports on systems and software costs and usage
  • Translate data for presentation to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain software renewal and reconcile user records within the software database

  • Develop procedures to improve existing systems
  • Present key information to IT teams for improvements

  • Create and maintain project plans that outling scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
  • Actively lead the execution of projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to internal security and quality standards
  • Analyze project issues/gaps, identify opportunities of improvement, and collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement potential solutions
  • Provide weekly status reports for priority projects that include project issues/gaps
  • Communicate constructive feedback to involved parties on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Identify key stakeholders for project planning and communicate regular updates on project progress
  • Synthesize updates to create executive summaries for senior leadership as needed
  • Create templates and standardized workflows that improve consistency of outcomes and efficiency
    Document and record each project for possible future replication 

Project Budgeting

  • Manage projects’ budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to Shorelight’s financial policies
  • Collaborate with the finance and technology teams’ leadership to forecast, track, and report project financials
  • Optimize current software and resources to ensure projects stay under budget

Security

  • Comply with Shorelight Written Information Security Policy, and all other Shorelight Information Security Policies and Procedures
  • Take responsibility for any Shorelight assets assigned to you
  • Promptly report any security events, incidents or weaknesses to Shorelight Security

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years in project management or related role
  • Experience and proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or IT related field
  • 2+ years in technical project management or related role
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies

Job Overview
The Senior Software Engineer is a major contributor to development and delivery of Web-based applications and integration of third-party tools into Shorelight’s ecosystem. This role will work across the full stack (HTML5/CSS3, React.js/Redux, Node.js, Java, Python), leveraging the latest technologies to deliver top-notch technical solutions that excite our customers. The Senior Software Engineer has excellent oral and written communication skills, solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, and pays close attention to detail. He/She/They are comfortable multitasking, changing priorities as needed, and managing time efficiently. This role reports to the Software Engineering Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support technical solutions across the full-stack of development tools and technologies
  • Work closely with Product Management to understand end-user requirements and translate them into high-quality, timely deliverables
  • Participate in peer code reviews, knowledge sharing, and assist other engineers in their work
  • Document Development phases and Monitor systems in place including keeping integrations are up-to-date
  • Assist in development/coding task planning, estimation, and scheduling
  • Continuously improve software engineering practices and standards
  • Explore and evaluate new and emerging software tools and technologies. Bring fresh ideas that can benefit the project
  • Comply with Shorelight Written Information Security Policy, and all other Shorelight Information Security Policies and Procedures. Promptly report any security events, incidents, or weaknesses to Shorelight Security

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing cloud-based, high-availability applications utilizing JavaScript, Java, and related frameworks and technologies
  • High proficiency with client-side JavaScript frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of developing application, tools, and integrations with Python
  • Strong experience designing RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture, and middle tier coding in Node.js and/or Java
  • Experience with variety of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
  • Experience delivering products using Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Eligible to work and travel in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience integrating with Salesforce or similar CRM products to develop client or business solutions
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling for development (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of web application security concepts
  • High proficiency with React.js/Redux
