Job Overview

The Lead Salesforce Developer performs hands-on technical implementation with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role contributes to the architecture, deployment, and documentation of projects that leverage the Salesforce toolset.  As a subject matter expert, the Lead Salesforce Developer liaises with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop appropriate solutions through Salesforce.  Managing time in an Agile environment to ensure the project is delivered on time and aligned with customer expectations is critical along with strong relationship-building capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and adaptability. Exceptional written and oral communication skills with an ability to design and facilitate executive-level presentations to stakeholders and organizational leadership is essential.  The Lead Salesforce Developer will report to the Principal Quality Assurance Manager.

Essential Functions

Architecture & Design

  • Architect and develop and lead developers in solutioning Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning and other salesforce Components
  • Architect and Simplify current and future Salesforce solutions.
  • Design system to satisfy System performance and perform Performance tuning for Salesforce Infrastructure.

Development

  • Design and develop client-side solutions using LWC, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Design and develop solutions that integrate with Managed Packages from Salesforce Partners using APIs from Salesforce and 3rd parties
  • Develop and Maintain Process and principles on Code review, Build/Deploy and unit test for Salesforce
  • Develop code and unit tests to implement business requirements as part of an Agile Scrum Development team
  • Make accurate Level of Effort estimates to requirements and communicate to stakeholders
  • Perform and guide members on development, unit testing and defect fixes
  • Perform and advice on performance tuning of various internal and external salesforce integrations.
  • Conduct design and code reviews with peers and third-party development team members
  • Write clear and accurate technical documentation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years’ experience implementing Salesforce solutions
  • Extensive experience as Salesforce Architect and Lead Developer
  • Expertise in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce development best practices
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, SOQL, SOSL and understanding of relational databases
  • Proficiency with the Force.com IDE, Git, SFDX and other common development tools
  • Solid knowledge of Data modeling, Database design, and Data governance
  • Experience with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, REST, SOAP
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology

Job Overview

The Director of Software Engineering leads a group of software engineers, who will be assigned to a number of teams working on a range of products. This position will direct the software engineering function, looking for opportunities for code/component sharing to improve efficiency and quality of development deliverables. Product Delivery

  • Develop, communicate, and implement risk mitigation plans, complete documentation to effectively monitor risk, and ensure accountability and responsibility

The Business Systems Administrator ensures the team is maximizing efficiencies and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the Salesforce (SFDC) and Enterprise systems based on business needs. Essential Functions

Salesforce Administration

  • Monitor, triage, and address incoming user requests using the IT Support Portal
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, page layouts, data validation rules, custom workflows, approval processes and installed packages
  • Manage data imports, database de-duping, and cleanup
  • Manage the integration of applications connected to SFDC, including but not limited to Marketo, Adobe Sign, In-house Admissions Portal, and FormAssembly
  • Engage with business stakeholders (SFDC users and integration systems users) to gather and analyze requirements as well as to propose solutions that leverage SFDC functionality
  • Translate approved solutions into actionable deliverables within the respective systems, ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
  • Manage new releases of SFDC and efficiently roll out new features from testing through production

The Senior Data Engineer translates business requirements into data solutions. This includes the design, development, and deployment of batch and near-real-time data processing, with a primary focus on maintaining the back-end components that support the company’s data warehousing and CRM system integration.  He or she requires demonstrated technical and functional skills in data management, including ETL, and data warehousing and data wrangling, combined with in-depth analytical and production support experience.  Effective oral and written communication skills are essential along with creative-thinking skills and an ability to use data to inform all decisions.

Data Integration

  • Design, develop, and test data integration processes among business systems and data warehouses in multiple DBMS environments, including cloud-based systems

Job Overview

The Desktop Support Specialist delivers direct, end-to-end technology support to Shorelight employees while providing excellent levels of service and support to the Shorelight community. This position acts as the first-line technical support contact for the Boston headquarters so excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong technical, multitasking, and interpersonal skills is essential.  The Desktop Support Specialist works closely with Human Resources to ensure that laptops and onboardings are provisioned, scheduled, and delivered with 100% accuracy.

Essential Functions

Technical

  • Maintain and develop strong technical expertise in key technologies in use within Shorelight, which includes areas such as operating systems, browsers, voice and data networking, Zoom, Outlook email client, Office 365, Okta, and the like
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues via phone, Web, and in-person channels
  • Contribute to Help Desk process documentation
  • Maintain familiarity with current and upcoming technology trends in mobile, desktop OS, etc.
  • Demonstrate initiative in recommending enhancements and improvements to the IT infrastructure
  • Help maintain a current inventory/asset system of all computer hardware and software

 Support & Customer Service

  • Actively monitor onboarding pipeline and ticket queues, and ensure that all requests are handled in accordance with Shorelight’s service delivery standards
  • Escalate tickets proactively to responsible senior team members or specialists
  • Demonstrate high degrees of skill and tact in the areas of teamwork and interpersonal relationships, including highly effective oral, written, and listening communication skills
  • Assume other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT or a related field, with a strong background in operating systems, desktop support, security, networking, system administration, programming and scripting, and other IT technology areas
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 and Mac OSX operating systems as well as a broad suite of cloud-based and SAAS applications in a business environment
  • Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Previous support or customer service experience or training
