Job Overview

Shorelight Education is seeking to hire a Regional Recruitment Coordinator to assist in executing a student recruitment strategy in Russia/CIS, targeted at international students seeking a US university degree.  The role will include the execution of business development initiatives and provide administrative support and assistance with various aspects of the student recruitment process.

Regional Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for aspects of the student recruitment process assisting the Russia/CIS Recruitment team. This employee will be an integral member of the recruitment team: assisting Recruitment Managers by participating at the agent events, arranging trainings for key agents as well as establishing points of contact with new educational companies, tracking ROI on all the activities, tracking targets and sending out reports to key agents on their performance.

This position falls under the purview of the Regional Director EMEA and works closely with the in-country recruitment team to assist with localized recruitment and marketing strategy to drive recruitment of international students. The Regional Recruitment Coordinator must have a positive, can-do attitude and exceptional communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Assist RM and ARMs with managing their key channel accounts and partnerships to achieve enrollment targets for all university partnerships
  • Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment: monitoring enrollment trends, reporting on all phases of the recruitment process to Regional Directors, and using technology systems
  • Maintain maximum levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Travel to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars, conferences, meetings, and training events in order to build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, faculty, staff, agents, partners, and other external institutions and vendors
  • Execute Shorelight’s university partners’ student recruitment strategies, partnering with Shorelight’s Global Marketing Team for all marketing and advertising strategies and collateral responsibilities
  • Concentrate on certain Partnership Campaigns and create and support the application flow to the appointed Partnerships (Spring 2019 – LSU and KU Campaigns)
  • Participate in agent events and work on strengthening the brand name on the markets
  • Work closely with RM/ARM, assisting with any recruitment-related support, e.g. replying to agent enquiries, organizing scholarship interviews with students etc.
  • Ensure events meet quality and brand expectations
  • Research venues, negotiate, and finalize contracts

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in recruitment

The Vice President, China Recruitment, develops and executes a student recruitment strategy across China that targets international students seeking their U.S. university degrees. This recruitment strategy will ensure Shorelight’s continued growth in China. The VP works closely with both regional and Boston-based teams, including the General Manager, Asia; Executive Director of Global Recruitment; Chief Recruitment Officer; Finance and Marketing Departments; Shorelight Live and other functions based in Boston headquarters to develop and execute on this recruitment strategy.

The VP line-manages Shorelight’s regional recruitment team and leads high-level account development and management of key channel partners. The VP drives and ultimately ensures the execution of the recruitment strategy across the region and multiple channels to maximize students’ opportunities and Shorelight’s revenue across its portfolio of partner universities. This individual assumes ultimate responsibility for leading the recruitment business in China.

This position is based in Shanghai and reports directly to the Chief Recruitment Officer, who is based in the United Kingdom.

 

Essential Functions

Regional Strategy/Operations

  • Develop and lead the execution of regional revenue growth strategy across channels, products, and subregions to support Shorelight’s growth goals
  • Work with General Manager, Asia and local leadership to develop multisector approach that leverages regional resources
  • Work closely with headquarters in Boston to deliver critical feedback on new products, universities, and programs, with the goal of optimizing all products for the region
  • Maintain high levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Director to ensure the recruitment strategy is being well executed through the recruitment team
  • Develop plans to rapidly expand the agent channel through Business Development and digital processes

  • Collaborate with Shorelight Live team and contribute to plans for expansion of Shorelight Live in China

Team Management

  • In conjunction with the Regional Director and General Manager, develop an efficient organization that leverages staff strengths and recruitment opportunities while managing growth across the subregions
  • Collaborate with other regional teams (enrollment services, admissions, D2C) on priorities and initiatives to achieve targets
  • Foment an inclusive office culture across all functions to ensure team members are working toward a common goal
  • Manage the recruitment teams to ensure Shorelight is reaching its goals for enterprise agents, agent channel expansion, high school network, Shorelight Live, D2C recruitment, and university partners

The Vice President, Channel Development, is the sales and marketing leader responsible for the strategy and execution of the growth of Shorelight’s channel sales network. The role leads channel expansion for Shorelight and is accountable for the overall growth and productivity of the network, working together with regional sales and marketing staff to execute the strategy.   • Develop the roadmap to achieve the organization’s channel expansion goals over the next 3–5 years
