Job Overview

The Recruitment Manager (RM) is responsible for executing a student recruitment strategy across India targeted at international students seeking a US university degree. This position will include account management of Shorelight’s country and regional network recruiters, schools and universities along with building and managing direct-to-student marketing campaigns that drive enrolments to Shorelight’s university partners.

This position is based in India and directly reports to the Senior Regional Director, Recruitment, North and South India 

Essential Functions

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manage key channel accounts and partnerships in India to achieve enrollment targets for all university partnerships
  • Contribute to, and execute on, Shorelight university partner’s student recruitment strategies
  • Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment, monitoring enrollment trends and reporting on all phases of recruitment process to the Regional Director, South Asia utilizing technology systems
  • Maintain maximum levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Travel extensively to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars,conferences, meetings and training events. Build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, faculty, staff, agents, partners and other external institutions and vendors
  • Execute an efficient and streamlined processes for all stages of the recruitment process (inquiry, application, assessment, offer, acceptance, visa applications, orientation, etc.) with strong focus on conversion of inquiries to applications to offers to enrolments
  • Work effectively with the university liaisons to ensure smooth entry into the school-or program (working with Finance on incoming deposits, tracking of payments, processing of agent contracts and commissions as necessary, assisting with form completion, coordinating arrival transportation for new incoming students, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area
  • 5+ years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry in India
  • Strong sales and account management skills
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in a matrix governance model
  • Strategic-minded and sales-driven, strong drive for results, pressure-resilient
  • Proficiency with CRM technology and reporting programs/systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exemplary customer service skills and ability to foster a team-based customer service ethic
  • Willingness and ability to travel both throughout India and the USA as required

Shorelight is seeking to hire a Product Sales Manager to execute a student recruitment strategy across China targeted at international students seeking a US university degree.  The Product Sales position, reporting directly to the Senior Product Sales Manager China, will work across all channels to maximize the recruitment efforts in the China for a specific set of Shorelight partner universities.  The Product Sales role is a combination of sales and marketing and will work closely with Shorelight’s in market recruitment teams and partners as well as Shorelight’s marketing and campus based teams. The product sales role will be approximately 80% sales/product management and 20% marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Work across all channels within China to achieve specific targets for a specific set of products
  • Contribute to, and execute on, Shorelight university partner’s broader student recruitment strategies
  • Develop and execute a product specific recruitment plan across China in conjunction with Shorelight regional recruitment and campus teams

Student Lead Management

 

  • Create a set of standard operating procedures around direct recruitment operations and actions that leads to effective qualification and conversion of prospective students to application and enrollments.
  • Manage our direct recruitment team globally and work closely with our regional leaders to ensure consistent and smooth student experiences.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to guide and support prospective students through the enrollment process.
  • Work closely with our demand generation team to provide guidance and enhancements to our demand generation strategy.
  • Work closely with our affiliate management team to sign new lead sources and optimize current lead sources.
  • Create a referral process that consistently brings qualified leads and applicants.

Process Optimization

  • Work closely with our Digital Experience and Marketing teams to develop a unified student experience end to end that drives self-reinforcing behavior towards conversion.
  • Identify and communicate on market trends seen by the DTS team to promote better campaigns from MKT and increase conversions from the entire DTS team.
  • Consistently work with current tools such as Salesforce and Tableau and indicate ways to streamline team usage.
  • Generate new activities with referred students and their families. Identify Student/parent ambassadors in market to help us promote our programs.

 

Student Lead Management

 

  • Contribute to the growth of the business and to new student enrollments by assessing potential applicants and determine if they are qualified to apply and enroll in various academic programs.
  • Collaborate regularly with real-time feedback loops with regional leaders and marketing teams on digital campaigns, messaging, lead volume, and lead conversion activities.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to guide and support prospective students through the enrollment process.

 

Tracking and Reporting

 

  • Leverage Salesforce CRM, Tableau, Marketo, and other tools for tracking of assigned students to track their status and progress toward enrollment.
  • Create consistent and observable documentation in Salesforce and throughout the student cycle of student engagement, activities and processes.
  • Maintain and keep updated an ongoing student pipeline status dashboard to provide ongoing updates and reports to the team on the health of your student pipeline.

Security

Job Overview

The Senior Integrated Marketing Specialist role reports to Senior Channel Marketing Manager, Greater China and supports a team of China Marketing team responsible for executing local marketing strategies in the region targeted at national online and offline channels.

Core qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in marketing, business, EducationTechnology, or related area
  • Proficient in English, Native in Chinese
  • 3 years’ tactical marketing experience preferably within international education industry
  • Good skills and knowledge on social media area, a digital experience is plus
  • Good contents development skills, especially for social media, EDM, and online ads

Job Overview

The Recruitment Manager (RM) is responsible for executing a student recruitment strategy across India targeted at international students seeking a US university degree. This position will include account management of Shorelight’s country and regional network recruiters, schools and universities along with building and managing direct-to-student marketing campaigns that drive enrolments to Shorelight’s university partners.

This position is based in India and directly reports to the Regional Director, Recruitment, West and South India 

Essential Functions

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manage key channel accounts and partnerships in India to achieve enrollment targets for all university partnerships
  • Contribute to, and execute on, Shorelight university partner’s student recruitment strategies
  • Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment, monitoring enrollment trends and reporting on all phases of recruitment process to the Regional Director, South Asia utilizing technology systems
  • Maintain maximum levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Travel extensively to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars,conferences, meetings and training events. Build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, faculty, staff, agents, partners and other external institutions and vendors
  • Execute an efficient and streamlined processes for all stages of the recruitment process (inquiry, application, assessment, offer, acceptance, visa applications, orientation, etc.) with strong focus on conversion of inquiries to applications to offers to enrolments
  • Work effectively with the university liaisons to ensure smooth entry into the school-or program (working with Finance on incoming deposits, tracking of payments, processing of agent contracts and commissions as necessary, assisting with form completion, coordinating arrival transportation for new incoming students, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area
  • 3+ years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry in India
  • Strong sales and account management skills
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in a matrix governance model
  • Strategic-minded and sales-driven, strong drive for results, pressure-resilient
  • Proficiency with CRM technology and reporting programs/systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exemplary customer service skills and ability to foster a team-based customer service ethic
  • Willingness and ability to travel both throughout India and the USA as required
  • Experience in organizing pre-departure events and product launches
  • Eligibility to work in the hiring location without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Beneficial to have existing network and relationships within the education industry across India, strong working knowledge of key international markets, programs and products
  • Local language proficiency would be advantageous
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
