Job Overview


Shorelight is seeking to hire a Regional Recruitment Coordinator to assist in executing a student recruitment strategy in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), targeted at international students seeking a US university degree.  The role will include the execution of business development initiatives and provide administrative support and assistance with various aspects of the student recruitment process.

Regional Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for aspects of the student recruitment process assisting the EMEA Recruitment team. This employee will be an integral member of the recruitment team and reports directly to the Regional Director EMEA and works closely with the regional recruitment team to assist with localized recruitment and marketing strategy to drive recruitment of international students. The Regional Recruitments Coordinator must have a positive, can-do attitude and exceptional communication skills.


Essential Functions

  • Assist RM and ARMs with managing their channel accounts and partnerships to achieve enrollment targets for all university partnerships
  • Help in implementing recruitment and outreach activities, seminars, conferences, meetings, and training events in order to build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, faculty, staff, agents, partners, and other external institutions and vendors
  • Execute Shorelight’s university partners’ student recruitment strategies, partnering with Shorelight’s Global Marketing Team for all marketing and advertising strategies and collateral responsibilities, and liaise with local marketing vendors
  • Work closely with RM/ARM, assisting with any recruitment-related support, such as drafting and sending out regional newsletters, preparing presentations, etc.
  • Assisting recruitment managers in English language proficiency testing: working closely with recruitment team in Boston, providing test codes and test scores to the regional team
  • Ensure events meet quality and brand expectations
  • Research venues, negotiate, and finalize contracts

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in recruitment
  • Strategic-minded and sales-driven attitude, with a strong drive for results, and pressure-resilience
  • Proficient with technology and basic knowledge in reporting programs/systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry in Central China
  • Strong sales and account management skills

Job Overview

The Senor Marketing Coordinator role reports to Senior Channel Marketing Manager, Greater China and supports a team of China Marketing team responsible for executing local marketing strategies in the region targeted at national channels.

Key Responsibilities

Job Overview

Shorelight is looking for a Recruitment Manager to execute a student recruitment strategy across Taiwan, targeted at international students seeking a US or UK university degree. The role will include account management of Shorelight’s regional network recruiters, schools and universities, along with building and managing direct-to-student marketing campaigns that drive enrollments to Shorelight’s university partners.

 

This position is based in Taipei and directly reports to the Regional Director, North Asia.

Essential Functions

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Execute student recruitment strategies, partnering with the global Marketing team for all advertising strategies and collateral
  • Manage key channel accounts and partnerships to achieve enrollment targets for all university partnerships
  • Follow a data-driven approach to recruitment and monitor enrollment trends
  • Report on all phases of the student recruitment process to the Regional Director, North Asia
  • Maintain maximum levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Travel extensively to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars, conferences, meetings, and training events
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, faculty, staff, agents, partners and other external institutions and vendors
  • Execute on all stages of the recruitment process (inquiry, application, assessment, offer, acceptance, visa applications, orientation, etc.) with strong focus on conversion of inquiries to applications
  • Work effectively with the university liaisons to ensure smooth entry into the school or program (work with Finance department on incoming deposits, tracking of payments, processing of agent contracts and commissions as necessary, assisting with form completion, coordinating arrival transportation for new incoming students, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area
  • 5 7+ years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry in Taiwan
  • Strong sales and account management skills
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in a matrix governance model
  • Strategic-minded and sales-driven, strong drive for results, pressure-resilient
  • Proficiency with technology and reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exemplary customer service skills and ability to contribute to a customer service centric culture within the team
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Existing network and relationships within the education industry in Taiwan
  • Strong working knowledge of key international markets, programs and products, and US higher education
  • Experience in digital marketing and/or knowledge of the Taiwan blogging community
