Job Overview

The Marketo Specialist executes India-specific Marketo deployment, working from Shorelight’s Gurugram office. This individual works closely with the India Marketing Manager and marketing automation team to execute on the creation of marketing campaigns, workflow, email and event templates, software integration, and other marketing automation needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with India marketing team and marketing automation team to execute all Marketo needs, including but not limited to:
    • Email creation and send
    • Email template creation
    • Drip email workflow creation and execution
    • Drip email workflow template creation
    • Event workflow creation and execution
    • Event workflow template creation
  • Coordinate with India and Boston teams to ensure strong communications and alignment on priorities and challenges
  • Design attractive emails within brand specifications
  • Execute on all projects and programs, working independently to meet assigned deadlines, to document and meet project goals, and to communicate results as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working in Marketo
  • Experience with SFDC and Marketo/SFDC integration
  • Experience building emails, workflows, and other integral marketing automation functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketo Certification
  • Ability to read or speak Chinese
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and move them forward in a timely manner
  • Strong fact-checking ability and attention to detail

Job Overview

Shorelight Education is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the execution of international marketing to initiate direct-to-student marketing campaigns, manage localized marketing, to drive student enrollments to Shorelight’s university partners from the following regions – Middle East and North Africa.

We are looking for a data-driven inbound marketer to support the marketing funnel for your region. You will be supporting activities related to attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing to close those leads into enrollments. 

This position will work closely with Shorelight’s regional marketing team in Dubai & HQ marketing team, to support the localized marketing activities to drive recruitment of international students from the region. The Marketing coordinator will be a creative thinker and doer with independent judgment, who will use data to help to manage the execution of these plans with a team of support staff and vendors.

The position reports to the Marketing Manager, MENA.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, social channels, and analytics
  • Build, manage, segment and analyze various email lists and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in your email sends
  • Establish closed-loop analytics to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers
  • Conduct in-country events for these hot leads and convert them down funnel into an enrollment
  • Assist the Demand Gen team in executing the optimal Paid Marketing Strategy – involving SEM, Display Marketing, Paid Social (Facebook and local social media).
  • Form new partnerships with local publisher networks for advertising to drive student enrollments, and utilize third party vendors globally for lead partnerships
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers)
  • Collaborate with Shorelight’s marketing in the development of localized collateral to reflect including writing copy, and producing customer facing collateral.
  • Strong close relationship with student counseling team and assist in student conversion and enrollment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related area.
  • Education Experience is a plus!
  • 2-4 years of tactical marketing experience with a strong digital market focus
  • Proficiency with marketing automation to convert leads into marketing qualified, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted enrollments.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, and other local media platforms  
  • Experience with web analytics, A/B testing, and inbound marketing tactics
  • Experience in implementing marketing plans
  • Ability to think independently, thoroughly, and critically in fast-paced contexts
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders from local, national, and international constituencies
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Eligible to work in the hiring location without sponsorship

Essential Functions

  • Build, execute, and report on email marketing and nurture campaigns in Marketo
  • Measure results and optimize lead nurturing programs to increase conversion rates
  • Ensure accurate, timely execution of programs with a high level of responsiveness to internal stakeholders
  • Manage workflow and multiple deadlines with great communication and a positive attitude
  • Manage the list import process, including data hygiene and validation
  • Create complex, accurate lists to reach target audiences through segmentation
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends
  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and best practice campaigns
  • Work effectively with regional teams to provide best practice recommendations and determine goals, target segments, campaign flows, and metrics requirements for campaigns
  • Optimize marketing performance through A/B testing subject lines, copy, and CTAs to continually improve ROI
  • Assist with compliance initiatives such as GDPR and CASL
  • Support data optimization efforts through routine maintenance and reporting activities
  • Assist with Marketo/Salesforce integration efforts to ensure data integrity and reporting capabilities
  • Analyze the performance of lead scoring programs
  • Monitor lead creation process within Marketo and Salesforce
  • Troubleshoot data issues between Marketo and Salesforce
  • Coordinate the implementation of tracking links and tagging to support comprehensive reporting model
  • Create dashboards and reports that drive useful insights and provide visibility into sales pipeline and campaign performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a concentration in marketing
  • 2+ years’ experience with a marketing automation platform, preferably Marketo
  • Experience with email and landing page development, including ability to edit HTML/CSS
  • Experience with CRM system, preferably Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven technical, analytical, and quantitative skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills that enable translating complex data into productive discussions and effective presentation
  • Strong capability to set and follow processes and to build and understand reports
  • Experience in developing reports/dashboards on demand generation performance
  • Ability to travel and work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Overview  

The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the South Asia recruitment team and Shorelight’s central Product Marketing team to develop and execute Shorelight’s Product Marketing strategy for South Asia, to support the success and growth of new student enrollments from Shorelight’s network of channel partners. The Product Marketing Manager drives and ultimately ensures the coordination of the agent channel strategy across the designated region to maximize student opportunities and revenue across Shorelight’s portfolio of partner universities.  

The Product Marketing Manager is brand owner for Shorelight’s, and its partner universities’ brands in their geographic region. The role includes content development, sales collateral creation, email and social media campaigns, presentations, webinars, and other communications to support our channel partners in promoting our partner universities programs and growing student enrollments. The role requires a dynamic  
individual who works across teams, communicating with marketing teams across the globe, admissions, program implementation, and others. The Product Marketing Manager is an integral part of the Product Marketing team and must have experience in a similar role, as well as a positive, can-do attitude; strong attention to detail; experience in project management; and exceptional communication skills.  

The position reports to the Senior Director, Product Marketing.  

Essential Functions  

The responsibilities of this position include:  
  • Plan and own the execution of the localized marketing strategy.  
  • Collaborate with Shorelight’s Product Marketing and South Asia student recruitment teams in the development and execution of a localized product marketing strategy, including tactics (such as materials, and tools) to facilitate increasing awareness and market share, and drive revenue targets across all products as agreed with the Senior Director, Product Marketing, and Country Director, South Asia.  
  • Develop all communications planning to engage and communicate with our agents on behalf of Shorelight and our partner universities and programs.  
  • Execute marketing strategy.  
  • Participate and be local execution point for the in-market Product Launch and agent event strategy.  
  • Create, adapt, and/or localize best in class agent collateral, including writing copy and design.  
  • Ensure all agent marketing materials are appropriately customized and localized, including translation, attention to cultural sensitivities, and placement in South Asia  social media outlets.  
  • Own and deliver the method, channel, and content, for agent communications, in partnership with the South Asia recruitment team.  
  • Measure, monitor, and report on efficiency of marketing strategy.  
  • Track the efficiency of all product marketing projects, and subsequently measure results with other marketers and sales managers. This includes tight alignment with our agents’ account managers internally and ability to manage within our CRM to ensure consistency.  
  • Lead localized agent collateral planning, budgeting, quality control, and production.  
  • Brand ownership and accountability in-market.  
  • Ensure all brands within the Shorelight brand architecture are treated appropriately according to brand guidelines, identify any misuse, and rectify in-market.  
  • Develop strong online Shorelight channel presence through an appropriate social media strategy, likely bespoke to South Asia.  
  • Work with the wider Product Marketing team to initiate and localize agent marketing and conversion campaign via an appropriate and designated lead automation tool, Salesforce where appropriate, and social media to drive enrollments.  
  • Cross-functional operations  
  • Build strong relationships with other marketing departments to effectively co-promote our universities.  
  • Develop South Asia localized tools that enable the recruitment team to communicate effectively with agents in a timely, efficient and effective manner.  
  • Utilize third party vendors for technical expertise and manage these relationships where necessary.  
  • Clearly identify and define absent content that requires sourcing from campus teams.  
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the recruitment team’s marketing needs, working with the wider central marketing team to address needs.  

Qualifications  

  • 5+ years’ tactical marketing experience preferably within international higher education.  
  • Experience developing and implementing high-level marketing plans and budgets.  
  • Excellent project management skills, including setting priorities and anticipating needs.  
  • Ability to work with CRMs systems to monitor progress, report on key metrics, and communicate across the channel.  
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders from local, national, and international constituencies.  
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent ability to communicate with people from a wide variety of cultures and linguistic backgrounds.  
  • Ability to foster collaboration and trust, work collegially, and inspire others to high levels of performance.  
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat).  
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, and South Asia localized media platforms.
