Job Overview
The Director of Enrollment Management, Partner Operations is the subject matter expert on international enrollment for assigned partnerships.  He/she/they is the primary liaison with university admissions teams and the Center for International Services and Programs office.  This role reports to the Vice President, Enrollment Management and works closely with Executive Directors, Regional Partner Operations, Managing Directors, Shorelight’s Enrollment Management Team, and University stakeholders.
The Director of Enrollment Management, Partner Operations is self-directed with a demonstrated history of strategic thinking and effective leadership.  He/She/They is comfortable multitasking, adjusts quickly to shifting priorities, and has a strong attention to detail.  The Director of Enrollment Management, Partner Operations shows excellence in problem solving, oral and written communication, and cross-departmental collaboration.  He/She/They can foster collaboration and trust, especially with stakeholders from local, national, and international constituencies, work collegially, and inspire others to high levels of performance.
 
Essential Functions 
Enrollment Management
  • In concert with university admissions operations and Shorelight’s Enrollment Management team, drive workflow optimization to streamline university admissions and I20 processing capabilities and ensure agreed SLAs are met
  • Support escalated cases for admissions decisions or service turnaround on I20s as needed
  • Serve as relationship manager on new program development, including admissions criteria, processes, integration and implementation
  • Host weekly review meetings with EM teams to provide ongoing guidance on admissibility standards and application consultation
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with University admissions/EM/Faculty/DSO teams to support timely resolution/processing of applications submitted to University
  • Lead biannual evaluation of Localized Entry Requirements (LERs), acceptable credentials, and application throughput with the goal of optimizing existing processes at the partnership level
  • Develop, document, and communicate local campus policies related to admissions and enrollment management
  • Support the Partner Operations leadership team with new initiatives that support enrollment goals and open access for qualified international students in collaboration with Shorelight acquisition leadership
  • Partner with Managing Directors on forecasting enrollment and participation in conversion activities including webinars and student outreach
  • Partner with MD/ED/University on determining productivity thresholds and forecasting production volume to ensure that SLAs are met
  • Support pre-arrival and orientation activities at assigned schools
  • Maintain admissions letters, marketing materials, and website updates
  • Support students in pre-arrival webinars, arrival needs, and communications
  • Support student enrollment in Shorelight Marketplace initiatives
Relationship Management
  • Liaise with critical university personnel, including but not limited to Vice President of Enrollment Management, Graduate Admissions Directors/Assistant Deans, Primary Designated School Official, Bursar, Registrar; support partnership relationships with other key stakeholders in the enrollment process across the university
  • Chair the Enrollment Services Committee (ESC), maintain a regular cadence of ESC meetings at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and communicate updates to the partnership Steering Committee and the wider Shorelight audience
  • Partner with Shorelight acquisition leadership to identify new opportunities that support enrollment goals and take the lead on bringing these forward to University stakeholders
Data and Technology
  • Produce regular enrollment reporting and analysis with Shorelight and the University
  • Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce through lifecycle of the student journey
  • Coordinate data and file transfer into the university Student Information System
  • Support Managing Directors with funnel reports and forecasting enrollment
  • Work with university IT and engineering personnel to improve or implement systems integration

Security

  • Comply with Shorelight Written Information Security Policy, and all other Shorelight Information Security Policies and Procedures
  • Take responsibility for any Shorelight assets assigned to you
  • Promptly report any security events, incidents, or weaknesses to Shorelight Security
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience with international student transcript evaluation
  • 3+ years of leadership and management experience of a growing admissions team
  • Experience with student data management and/or application systems, including Banner, Salesforce, Synapsis, or other related CRM systems
  • Knowledge of international student services within a higher education setting
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing projects and leading process
  • Eligibility to work in and travel in and out of the United States without sponsorshiPreferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in international education–related field
  • 5+ years of experience in international admissions–graduate admissions
  • Experience living in another cultural context and/or fluency in a second language

Job Overview

The Senior Research Analyst, Portfolio Management works closely with leadership within the Shorelight Global Solutions team, as well as internal stakeholders throughout the organization and its university partners to provide thorough data-driven analyses to inform portfolio optimization, partnership growth strategies, and new product development.

 

The individual in this role has a deep understanding of the trends in international higher education. He/she/they has a truly international outlook, the ability to work in a diverse environment, and possess a cross-cultural awareness and understanding.  He or she must show excellence in complex problem solving and have a keen ability to work in a matrix organization through effective cross-functional collaboration.  This role will report to the Executive Director, Portfolio Management.

 

Essential Functions

Business Intelligence 

  • Monitor industry news, trends, and key data sources to inform research initiatives and portfolio expansion opportunities.
  • Design, manage, and quality control robust intelligence tools and reports to analyze business impact, enrollment potential, and market opportunities for potential new products and partnerships.
  • Produce high-level written communication and analyses including research briefs, white papers, reports, proposals, and other materials on request to support new partnerships, product development priorities, and go-to-market strategies. Facilitate cross-functional meetings as needed to clarify requirements, develop documentation, and execute on deliverables. 
  • Present research and analyses internally and externally.
  • Optimize the post-launch analysis process and create scalable methodologies to track and analyze ROI metrics. Deliver post-launch reports on a quarterly basis or as requested.
  • Create and manage the distribution of a Portfolio Management newsletter to regularly share portfolio updates, product news, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coproduce white papers, exchange research best practices, and share business intelligence.

 

Operations

  • Design and distribute surveys to collect multi-stakeholder feedback for potential new products.
  • Manage the submission of RFPs and other related materials for potential new partners. 
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to regularly update business intelligence tools with key industry data including SEVIS, IPEDs, rankings, etc.
  • Continuously optimize and streamline processes to accelerate research capabilities and scale the development of portfolio governance documentation. 

 

Provide leadership and assistance where needed with special projects and ad hoc requests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in higher education management
  • Experience working with international students in an administrative or academic capacity
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with fast-paced turnaround times 
  • Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and creative thinking abilities
  • Advanced skills in research methodologies 
  • Skills in data visualization tools, Tableau a plus
  • Experience using CRMs or Student Information databases, Salesforce a plus
  • 15-25% travel (primarily domestic although some international)
  • Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the United States without sponsorship

Job Overview
The Executive Director, Implementation is a critical leadership role within Shorelight Global Solutions and leads a key function of the business development process. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Solutions, the Executive Director, Implementation leads the implementation team and the launching of new partners and programs and last-mile business development activities.
The Executive Director, Implementation is a skilled team player who can successfully lead the establishment of innovative educational ventures, including accountability for start-up and continuity details and the execution of business development opportunities. The Executive Director, Implementation is a skilled relationship manager, problem solver, project manager, and excellent cross-functional communicator who demonstrates the dual capacities of strategic thinking and meticulous execution and has a passion for international education.
This position is remote with 25% or more travel (primarily domestic with limited international).
 
Essential Functions
Business Development
  • Oversees the execution of implementation for new partner launches and new product launches at existing partnerships.
  • Engages in strategic initiatives and partner development activities across the Global Solutions group.
  • Executes late-stage business development opportunities and post-signing optimization efforts.
  • Manages the process of establishing Partnership Frameworks, including answering all key questions surrounding the programs and market launches.
  • Responsible for managing launches within established KPIs, including, but limited to overall targets, budget, and timeline.
  • Responsible for a best-in-class onboarding/implementation experience.
  • Ensures that each program adheres to the highest standards and that the highest levels of optimization are achieved.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish optimal Go-To-Market plans.
  • Represent the programs internationally and domestically, including participation in marketing events, familiarization tours, and through memberships and affiliations.
Relationship Management
  • Lead a team to manage implementation process for functional areas, including admissions, operations, and academics, and cross-functionally lead Shorelight team members to ensure completion of launch essentials and timely and effective product launches.
  • Liaise with all key university partners, including senior university leaders, and Shorelight colleagues to establish trust and partnerships.
  • Serve as primary account owner of partnership during implementation and establish a smooth transition to Managing Director/Executive Director post-launch.
  • Supervise project operations manager and collaborate with SGS leadership to ensure seamless, transparent transitions and timely launches.
  • Manage communication plan for launches in collaboration with portfolio management and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, and an effective Go-To-Market strategy.
People Management
  • Recruit, develop, and retain team members to ensure productivity and engagement
  • Engage in talent management activities such as goal setting, performance evaluations, stay interviews, development planning, and ongoing feedback to develop team members and achieve organization goals
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and corrective action (when necessary) to team members
  • Foster a culture that reflects Shorelight’s values
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in higher education management with strong team motivational skills
  • Experience managing a team
  • Record of delivering strategic, financial, and operational objectives
  • Experience establishing admissions processes and student support services for international students
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Proven experience using CRMs or Student Information databases (e.g., Salesforce)

Job Overview
The Director of Implementation, University Programs, leads the implementation, and launch of university programming and support at new partnerships, negotiating the undergraduate and graduate academic entry criteria and creating academic access programs in close collaboration with university leadership.  The primary responsibility of this individual is to create access points for international students and to develop academic programming in conjunction with university colleagues to ensure student success.  Reporting to the Executive Director, Implementation, the Director of Implementation, University Programs, oversees all aspects of the partner university academic programs including international student admissions criteria, campus-based and online Undergraduate, Graduate, ESL and non-degree programs.  The Director of Implementation, University Programs is innovative and entrepreneurial, has high attention to detail and documentation, and proves to be an effective communicator with internal and key university stakeholders. 

Essential Functions 

University Program Management

• Advocates for access-oriented university programs for international students that maximize enrollment potential.
• Builds university programs, implementing systems and procedures, for campus-based and online undergraduate, graduate, ESL and non-degree programs.
• Provides detailed and expert analysis on key trends, performance metrics, and student-focused enhancements
• Leads optimization efforts around academic programming that meets the partnership objectives and further strengthens the partnership’s mission, international reach, and outstanding reputation, and maximizes student success.
• Collaborates on the delivery of online course and workshop content to support student success.
• Trains university and Shorelight personnel on the partnership’s university programs. 
• Documents governing decisions in a clear and concise manner. 

Relationship Management
• Liaises with Shorelight’s university partner teams to design and deliver academic programming that meets students where they are and ensures international student success.
• Serves as relationship manager of critical university personnel including, but not limited to Enrollment Director, Department Deans, Program Directors, ESL Director, and Academic Chair.
• Partners with Implementation colleagues to ensure a holistic program encompassing academic success, integration into the university environment, acculturation, student services support, and student success.
• Fosters trust and collaboration with the university leadership and create a common framework and vision for student success and academic progression.

Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in higher education, language school management• Record of exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills• Demonstrated tact, patience, and diplomacy, when collaborating cross-departmentally • Eligibility to work and travel in the United States without Sponsorship
