Job Overview
The Director, Global Admissions Operations, provides operational and analytical support to the Global Admissions leadership team. Reporting to the Executive Director, Enrollment Management, this position anticipates workload trends and develops staffing forecasts accordingly; monitors productivity, workload, and workforce allocation across Global Admissions; reports data that spans across enrollment management; takes ownership over departmental data accuracy and integrity; and collaborates cross-departmentally on projects that impact student acquisition and enrollment management.
Essential Functions
Admissions Operations and Management
- Analyze operations of Global Admissions, and enrollment management and provide recommendations to optimize global application workflow
- Provide directional support and oversight to regional Admissions managers in our global admissions regions
- In collaboration with Director of Operations, Enrollment Management, identify opportunities for creating workflow and system workflow efficiencies
- Design and deliver training programs on application review and assessment
- Work with teams across student acquisition to create, monitor and maintain student/agent communications that support student engagement throughout the enrollment cycle
- Develop and manage regional admissions leadership to help them effectively meet goals and targets
- Develop and implement training and oversight on best practices in credential evaluation and assessment
Data Management
- Ensure that workflows and processes are recorded and tracked in the system to ensure data accessibility and reduce manual data use outside Salesforce
- Develop and maintain admissions reports for Enrollment Management leadership team
- Represent the Enrollment Management Team in collaborating with x-functional partners (Analytics, Student Acquisition, Marketing) in identifying trends in admissions data and effects on business performance and decision making
People Management
- Recruit, develop, and retain team members to ensure productivity and engagement for assigned portfolio team
- Engage in talent management activities such as goal setting, performance evaluations, stay interviews, development planning, and ongoing feedback to develop team members and achieve organization goals
- Provide coaching, counseling, and corrective action (when necessary) to team members

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years minimum of international credential evaluation/assessment experience
- 5 years minimum of progressively advanced managerial responsibility in admissions operations
- Well-rounded knowledge of CRM, mainly Salesforce, and data analytics tools
- Exemplary customer service, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity toward students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to take initiative, perform multiple assignments, and lead and complete projects in a timely manner
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs and databases
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in higher education, operations, or business analytics
- Master’s degree in higher education, international education, or related field
- 7-10 years of international credential evaluation/assessment experience
- Knowledge of international student services within a higher education setting
- Knowledge of at least one (1) foreign language preferred
