Thomas Anderman is Head of Private Equity at Cohen Private Ventures, which oversees family office activities for, and invests long-term capital in direct private investments and other opportunistic transactions on behalf of, Steven A. Cohen and his family.

Prior to his position with Cohen Private Ventures, Mr. Anderman was a Principal at Paine & Partners, where he focused on private equity investments in the U.S. and Europe. Mr. Anderman has also held positions at Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, Freeman Spogli & Co., and Salomon Smith Barney, where he began his career in finance as an investment banking analyst in the consumer/retail group.

Mr. Anderman currently serves as a board member for several private companies. In 2012 he was Interim CFO of Scanbio Marine Group AS, based in Trondheim, Norway.

Mr. Anderman received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and his BA and MA from Stanford University. He is a member of the International Council of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School and The Economics Club of New York.
