Shorelight Announces Lynnet Conley As New Chief Financial Officer.
BOSTON, Mass. (September 3, 2019) – Shorelight, a leader in international education that provides life-changing experiences for international learners, today announced the hiring of Lynnet Conley as Chief Financial Officer. Conley will lead Shorelight’s financial strategy and execution to optimize the Finance team’s capabilities and support Shorelight’s vision and long-term strategy for corporate growth.
Conley joins Shorelight with over 25 years of leadership in financial management and international operations. A highly accomplished executive, Conley has a proven track-record of success on multinational teams across Europe, Asia and the US for both large public and mid-sized private equity backed companies. Conley most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for Vistra, a global business services provider specializing in corporate, company formation, international expansion, and administrative trust and fiduciary services, overseeing a team of 200 finance associates worldwide.

Prior to her role as Chief Financial Officer at Vistra, Conley held several leadership positions advancing global organizations, including Radius, Inc., Automatic Data Processing, Inc., ES-Major Account Services and Employer Services International.
Conley received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration with distinction from Babson College.

David Stremba Joins Shorelight Education.
BOSTON, Mass. (April 11, 2017) – Shorelight Education, a leader in international education that provides exceptional U.S. university experiences to students from around the world, today announced the hiring of David Stremba as Senior Vice President, Global Solutions. Stremba will be tasked with implementing a comprehensive, long-term business development strategy to build relationships with university leadership to expand options for students, drive institutional growth and create new revenue streams.
Stremba joins Shorelight Global Solutions with extensive experience in the international education industry, most recently as the founder and principal of International Education Insights LLC, where he provided advisory and consulting services for secondary and higher education institutions, pathway providers, investors, private equity firms and equity analysts.

Stremba has experience working with U.S., U.K., Australian and Canadian universities and previously oversaw the strategic development of pathway operations in North America as Executive General Manager at Navitas. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director, North America at INTO University Partnerships, where he established the organization in the market and oversaw the planning, launch and management of INTO’s initial six university partnerships in the United States. Under his leadership, INTO grew its North American university partner network and student populations from the ground up. Stremba also spent time at Kaplan Inc., where he was instrumental in the development of Kaplan’s first university partnership in the United Kingdom.
Stremba holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Penn State University and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Management. He is based in San Diego, Calif.

Michael Huckaby Joins Shorelight Education.
BOSTON, Mass. (April 7, 2017) – Shorelight Education, a leader in international education that provides exceptional U.S. university experiences to students from around the world, today announced the hiring of Michael Huckaby as Chief Marketing Officer and Managing Director of U.S. News Global Education, a subsidiary of Shorelight Education. In his dual role, Huckaby will develop and oversee Shorelight’s global marketing strategy along with building out the newly formed subsidiary, U.S. News Global Education.

Michael brings more than 20 years of international experience driving growth for consumer service and product companies. He has significant higher education experience, having served in various positions at Laureate Education, most recently serving as CEO of hospitality and culinary education, during which he led a global network of highly reputed universities by opening new branch campuses and launching new degree programs. Before that, he was senior vice president of global marketing and enrollment at Laureate, where he transformed their recruitment and distribution models, integrated the global digital strategy and increased brand perception across distinct markets. Through these roles, he established strong competencies across multiple functions in marketing, enrollment, business development and general management.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in international business from the University of Alabama, Manderson Graduate School of Business. Michael is co-located in Washington, D.C., and Boston, MA.
