Essential Functions

Data Management and Analysis

Conduct data analysis activities and work closely with end users (both internal and external) to translate requirements into data-driven applications and data visualization solutions (e.g., reporting and dashboards)
Lead multiple projects or reporting needs with minimal oversight, serving as a liaison between other analysts and relevant departments
Create ad hoc analyses that yield clear, tangible metrics for performance assessment, improvement, and alignment

Determine key data sources and data interdependencies within the organization to ensure all relevant parameters are considered to gather insights
Respond to inquiries with fully accurate, well-structured summaries of insights within very short periods of time

Deliver presentations with confidence to all levels of the organization
Build dashboards and reports with effective design, guided from end user input

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., data science, statistics, social sciences, market research, computer science, engineering, or equivalent)
3+ years of business experience
1+ years hands-on experience with BI tools and reporting software (e.g. Tableau, MS Power BI)
Experience with one or more statistical and mathematical programming packages (R, SAS, SPSS, Excel, Access)
Familiarity with agile workflow
Proven experience developing well-structured reports that highlight insights rather than complexity
Internal customer orientation and excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate and visualize quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

Key Responsibilities

Working in Shorelight CRM to prepare applications for the Admissions team to process
Assist with the development and maintenance of data quality and integrity
Assist with other aspects of the application process as needed by the Admissions team
Assist with foreign credential evaluation and academic eligibility assessment
Assist with the streamlining and triaging of Admissions-related inquiries, tasks, and other communications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
