Job Overview

The Senior Data Analyst helps lead efforts to weave data and analytics into the fabric of Shorelight’s everyday work. Essential Functions

Data Management and Analysis

  • Conduct data analysis activities and work closely with end users (both internal and external) to translate requirements into data-driven applications and data visualization solutions (e.g., reporting and dashboards)
  • Lead multiple projects or reporting needs with minimal oversight, serving as a liaison between other analysts and relevant departments
  • Create ad hoc analyses that yield clear, tangible metrics for performance assessment, improvement, and alignment

  • Determine key data sources and data interdependencies within the organization to ensure all relevant parameters are considered to gather insights

 Cross-Functional Operations

  • Work cross-functionally to determine and solve the largest problems facing the business through research, analysis, and innovation
  • Maintain functional expertise in a specific area(s) of the business (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) and work closely with department stakeholders to identify measurement needs
  • Generate insights and develop actionable recommendations to such stakeholders
  • Focus on supporting department’s internal systems and their integration to streamline access to information

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., data science, statistics, social sciences, market research, computer science, engineering, or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of business experience
  • 1+ years hands-on experience with BI tools and reporting software (e.g. Tableau, MS Power BI)
  • Experience with one or more statistical and mathematical programming packages (R, SAS, SPSS, Excel, Access)
  • Familiarity with agile workflow
  • Proven experience developing well-structured reports that highlight insights rather than complexity
  • Internal customer orientation and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and visualize quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

The QA Automation Intern learns and experiences what Quality Assurance Automation consists of in the corporate environment. Key Responsibilities

Job Overview

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in leading a team of Web developers, internal and offshore 
  • High proficiency with client-side JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.js
  • Strong experience of static site generators like Next.js, Gatsby, and others
  • Exceptional CSS skills and responsive Web coding
  • Experience making Web properties accessible/understanding of accessibility standards
  • Effective communication skills, in person and in writing, for communication with internal stakeholders and offshore development team 
  • Ability to translate technical issues for nontechnical colleagues
