Job Overview

The Help Desk Intern learns and experiences what Desktop Support consists of in the corporate environment. Desktop Support consists of delivering direct, end-to-end technology support to Shorelight employees while providing excellent levels of service and support to the Shorelight community. Essential Functions

Technical

  • Maintain and develop strong technical expertise in key technologies in use within Shorelight, which includes areas such as operating systems, browsers, voice and data networking, Zoom, Outlook email client, Office 365, Okta, and the like
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues via phone, Web, and in-person channels
  • Understand the familiarity with current and upcoming technology trends in mobile, desktop OS, etc and how to relate to the company

Support & Customer Service

  • Actively monitor onboarding pipeline and ticket queues, and ensure that all requests are handled in accordance with Shorelight’s service delivery standards
  • Escalate tickets proactively to responsible senior team members or specialists
  • Demonstrate high degrees of skill and tact in the areas of teamwork and interpersonal relationships, including highly effective oral, written, and listening communication skills
  • Assume other duties as required

Essential Functions

  • Measure results and optimize lead nurturing programs to increase conversion rates
  • Ensure accurate, timely execution of programs with a high level of responsiveness to internal stakeholders
  • Manage workflow and multiple deadlines with great communication and a positive attitude
  • Manage the list import process, including data hygiene and validation
  • Create complex, accurate lists to reach target audiences through segmentation
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends

  • Work effectively with regional teams to provide best practice recommendations and determine goals, target segments, campaign flows, and metrics requirements for campaigns

  • Support data optimization efforts through routine maintenance and reporting activities
  • Assist with Marketo/Salesforce integration efforts to ensure data integrity and reporting capabilities

  • Troubleshoot data issues between Marketo and Salesforce
  • Coordinate the implementation of tracking links and tagging to support comprehensive reporting model
  • Create dashboards and reports that drive useful insights and provide visibility into sales pipeline and campaign performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a concentration in marketing
  • 2+ years’ experience with a marketing automation platform, preferably Marketo
  • Experience with email and landing page development, including ability to edit HTML/CSS
  • Experience with CRM system, preferably Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven technical, analytical, and quantitative skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills that enable translating complex data into productive discussions and effective presentation
  • Strong capability to set and follow processes and to build and understand reports
  • Experience in developing reports/dashboards on demand generation performance

Job Overview

The Admissions Operations Manager, University of Massachusetts, leads and oversees the admissions operation of programs within the University of Massachusetts system including, but are not limited to, undergraduate and graduate programs at UMass Boston, and hybrid transnational degree programs within UMass Amherst Global.

Reporting to the Director, Global Admissions Operations, with a secondary reporting to the Partnership Director, University of Massachusetts, the Admissions Manager is an energetic, detail-oriented individual who manages all admissions processing, as well as supports marketing, and international student services. This position requires a self-directed individual with excellent problem-solving, communication, and detail-orientated skills.  The successful candidate is a strategic thinker who collaborates with internal staff to identify business needs, define admissions requirements, and enhance business and systems workflows to support the enrollment management for a diverse product portfolio.   He/she possesses the interpersonal and intercultural skills necessary to work closely with students, parents, program staff, and university administration.

Essential Functions

Relationship Management

  • Liaise with critical university personnel, including but not limited to VP of Enrollment Management, Graduate Admissions Directors/Assistant Deans, Primary Designated School Official
  • Support partnership relationships with key stakeholders in the enrollment process across the university
  • Participate in biannual evaluation of Localized Entry Requirements (LERs), acceptable credentials, and application throughout with the intention of optimizing existing processes
  • Serve as the Admissions lead on internal and external committees and working groups on new program development and implementation, including definition of admissions criteria, policies, and operational processes
  • Assist coordination of recruitment trips/familiarization tours and other related recruitment activities

Processing and Operations

  • Assess applications, international academic credentials, and other documents required for international student admissions
  • Manage internal and external application data and document processing, including transfer to university SIS and CRM systems
  • Monitor and uphold service agreements (turnaround time) for all applicant profiles, including graduate, sponsored, and I-20 transfer students, as applicable
  • Supervise entry-level administrative staff
  • Oversee new application case escalation to the appropriate academic or faculty personnel
  • Develop and oversee enrollment management reports such as funnel reports that track incoming student cohorts
  • Develop, document, and communicate local campus policies related to admissions and enrollment management
  • Coordinate I-20 process with staff, including managing the shipment of I-20 student packets to field agents
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in higher education, international education, or related field
  • 2–4 years of work experience in higher education, international education, or related field
  • Experience with student data management and/or application systems, including Microsoft, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Sunapsis, or other related CRM systems
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask and be attentive to details
  • Ability to think independently and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success in establishing processes and continuously improving on them
  • Exemplary customer service skills and ability to foster a customer service ethic within the work team
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent ability to communicate with people from a wide variety of cultures and linguistic backgrounds

Job Overview

The Sr. Salesforce Developer will perform hands-on technical implementation, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce platform. The Sr. Salesforce Developer will contribute to the design, implementation, deployment and documentation of projects that leverage the Salesforce.com toolset. The Sr. Salesforce Developer may perform any of the following duties:

  • Design and develop solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Visualforce
  • Design and develop client-side solutions using Lightning technology and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Design and develop software integrations using APIs from Salesforce and 3rd parties

  • Ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
  • Develop code and unit tests to implement business requirements as part of an Agile Scrum Development team
  • Make accurate level of effort estimates
  • Perform unit testing and defect fixes
  • Use and maintain version control and continuous integration processes (CICD)

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree required, preferably a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related subject
  • 7-10 years’ experience implementing Salesforce solutions
  • Salesforce certification demonstrating current knowledge as a developer
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce development best practices
  • Proficiency with the Force.com IDE, Git, and other common development tools
  • Experience with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, REST, SOAP
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Conduct design and code reviews with peers and third-party development team members

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the VP Content & Creative and the Creative Director to create, communicate, and deliver a long-range user experience strategy across multiple touchpoints and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a design system / pattern library that allows Shorelight to create a consistent and predictable global experience across different sites, while evolving towards enhancements that will meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Work collaboratively within a cross-disciplinary team of marketers, designers, writers, project managers, and developers to design, deliver, and manage a portfolio of user experiences across Shorelight’s digital and print properties.
  • Comfortable working with a creative team to rapidly ideate and iterate a range of proposed designs for a given opportunity, then collaboratively review and validate their effectiveness.
  • Ability to synthesize and refine qualitative and quantitative data into visually compelling stories that effectively communicate design concepts and rationales to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback, to arrive at the best solution.
  • Work with Creative Director to establish brand direction from the ground up, or work within existing brand guidelines, to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints, both print and digital. 
  • Follow user-centered design best practices, and champion user research and usability standards, in order to create designs that engage and inspire our audiences, while driving successful business outcomes. 
  • Work closely with front end designers to implement designs in an iterative software development environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years design experience
  • You have a solid understanding of user interface design patterns, information architecture, user experience, and design thinking best practices
  • You have attention to detail and possess impeccable, cutting-edge visual design skills (including layout, grid systems, typography, iconography, and color) for both print and digital experiences
  • You’re fascinated by people, their motivations, and desires relating to any given design problem
  • You love helping identify user needs and establishing designs that help them reach their goals
  • You can work well with a team of diverse colleagues and stakeholders
