Job Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst supports various senior leadership initiatives by driving cross-functional projects that support Shorelight’s corporate goals. This individual requires superb analytic abilities to help Shorelight make better data-driven decisions. The Business Intelligence Analyst is a strategic thinker who also assists with building business processes that drive growth company-wide. This position reports to Shorelight’s Chief of Staff.

Essential Functions

Data Management and Analysis

  • Support multiple projects or reporting needs, using data to answer interesting and often nonintuitive questions
  • As applicable, work with senior analysts on project delivery
  • Create ad hoc analyses that yield clear, tangible metrics for performance assessment, improvement, and alignment
  • Synthesize data to prove out key metrics of Shorelight’s corporate story
  • Respond to inquiries with fully accurate, well-structured summaries of insights within very short periods of time
  • Guided by end-user input, build dashboards and reports with effective design
  • Acquire, clean, and structure data from multiple sources, working closely with end users (both internal and external) to represent data in various visualizations and/or dashboards and data visualization solutions (e.g., reporting and dashboards)

 

Cross-Functional Operations 

  • Lead creation of corporate story presentations and external investor presentations
  • Support creation of all board of directors’ materials
  • Work cross-functionally to determine and solve the largest problems facing the business through research, analysis, and innovation
  • Support the development of actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Support development of cross-functional business processes

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., statistics, social sciences, computer science, engineering, or equivalent)
  • 2–5 years of business experience
  • Experience with one or more statistical and mathematical programming packages (R, SAS, SPSS, Excel, Access)
  • Ability to communicate and visualize quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
  • Proven internal customer orientation and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure and to work across several projects and tasks both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

Data/Analytics

CRM Management

  • Data development, monitoring, and management using Shorelights CRM, Salesforce

Project Implementation

  • Support the Global Recruitment team and collaborate with Shorelight’s marketing, admissions, technology teams in the execution of cross functional projects to help achieve enrollment goals
  • Research new sources for students that enables the recruitment team to develop new channels

Qualifications

  • Related background in Marketing, Analytics Business related majors

Job Overview

The Product Development and Management Intern supports the development of undergraduate products and programs across our existing undergraduate partners, as well as any new partnerships launching throughout the year. Essential Functions

Competitive and Product Analyses

  • Lead and partner with analytics to develop a suite of product-level Tableau and Salesforce reports, which will serve as the foundation of product strategy development
  • Assist in the development of partnership analyses, a full university-facing report that combines product, marketing, and competitive analysis to inform future product and marketing recommendations
  • Establish competitive reporting that allows for cross-functional reach across academics, partner operations, student services, global recruitment, and product sales; this will serve as a major input to product strategy development
  • Develop opportunity assessments across educational pathway programs/products, as well as university-level assessments to help inform our global sales strategy; identify 3–5 key areas in which Shorelight should be playing and winning
  • Assist in the development of portfolio programs (i.e., Shorelight English) that allow us to maximize our offerings across all partners and subsequently contribute to product marketing strategies
  • Team up with partner operations, global recruitment, product management, and finance to assist in the development of product-level forecasting and pricing modeling

Marketing is an essential support for program promotion and community relations at Shorelight. Essential Functions

 

Marketing

  • Capture and share content for social media platforms such as highlights and key moments for events as determined by the Career Accelerator team
  • Work with the Career Accelerator Program Managers to write content for partnership blogs and weekly newsletters for the recruitment team
  • Contribute to Career Accelerator internal channel with student success stories, student/university outings, and other updates

Data Analytics

  • Review and update the current database of Leadership Development Programs/ Graduate Recruitment Programs to identify and catalog important recruitment procedures and application deadlines
  • Update the current database of student information to identify and catalog professional opportunities

Support

  • Identify key industry contacts and contact details (where possible) for each university program
  • Conduct research and collect information for a variety of projects, including program training manuals, economic reports, and professional opportunities for international students
  • Support the Student Ambassador Program when needed
  • Provide additional support to the wider partner operations team

Minimum Qualifications

The Product Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the US Onshore + LATAM recruitment teams and Shorelight’s central Product Marketing team to develop and execute  Shorelight’s Product Marketing strategy for US Onshore + LATAM, to support the success  and growth of new student enrolments from Shorelight’s network of channel partners. The  Product Marketing Coordinator drives and ultimately ensures the coordination of the agent channel strategy across the designated region to maximize student opportunities and  revenue across Shorelight’s portfolio of partner universities.  

The Product Marketing Coordinator is brand owner for Shorelight’s, and its partner universities’, brands, in their geographic region. The role includes content development,  sales collateral creation, email and social media campaigns, presentations, webinars, and  other communications to support our channel partners in promoting our partner  universities programs and growing student enrollments. The role requires a dynamic  individual who works across teams, communicating with marketing teams across the globe, admissions, program implementation, and others. The Product Marketing Coordinator is an integral part of the Product Marketing team and must have experience in a similar role, as well as a positive, can-do attitude; strong attention to detail; experience in project management; and exceptional communication skills.  

The position reports to the Senior Director, Product Marketing.  

Essential Functions 

  • Plan and own the execution of the localized marketing strategy  
  • Collaborate with Shorelight’s Product Marketing and US Onshore + LATAM student recruitment teams in the development and execution of a localized product marketing strategy, including tactics such as materials and tools, to facilitate increasing awareness and market share and drive revenue targets across all products as agreed with the Senior Director – Product Marketing, Regional Director US Onshore and Regional Director – LATAM.
  • Develop all communications planning to engage and communicate with our agents on behalf of Shorelight and our partner universities and programs.
  • Execute marketing strategy.
  • Participate and be local execution point for the in-market product launch and agent event strategy.
  • Create, adapt and/or localize best-in-class agent collateral, including writing copy and design.
  • Ensure all agent marketing materials are appropriately customized and localized, including translation, attention to cultural sensitivities and placement in US Onshore and LATAM social media outlets.
  • Own and deliver the method, channel and content for agent comms, in partnership with the South Asia recruitment team.
  • Measure, monitor and report on efficiency of marketing strategy.
  • Track the efficiency of all product marketing projects and subsequently measure results with other marketers and sales managers. This includes tight alignment with our agents’ account managers internally and ability to manage within our CRM to ensure consistency.
  • Lead localized agent collateral planning, budgeting, quality control and production, as well as brand ownership and accountability in-market.
  • Ensure all brands within the Shorelight brand architecture are treated appropriately according to brand guidelines, identify any misuse and rectify in-market.
  • Develop strong online Shorelight channel presence through an appropriate social media strategy.
  • Work with the wider Product Marketing team to initiate and localize agent marketing and conversion campaign via an appropriate and designated lead automation tool, Salesforce where appropriate, and social media to drive enrollments.
  • Cross-functional operations.
  • Build strong relationships with other marketing departments to effectively copromote our universities.
  • Develop localized tools that enable the recruitment team to communicate effectively with agents in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
  • Utilize third party vendors for technical expertise and manage these relationships where necessary.
  • Clearly identify and define absent content that requires sourcing from campus teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the recruitment team’s marketing needs, working with the wider central marketing team to address needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a marketing or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written English language skills.
  • Experience developing and implementing high-level marketing plans and budgets.

Job Overview

The Director, Career Accelerator Program (CAP), manages Shorelight’s career development and preparation initiatives for students across our U.S. partner university campuses. The Director, CAP, establishes a vision for CAP, facilitates curriculum and content creation and delivery, and manages employer relationships as well as secures new internship opportunities near our partner campuses across the United States and globally in diverse industries.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Academic Affairs, this individual serves as the main contact to the partner and campus leadership teams on all internship-related matters, building and nurturing relationships with U.S. employers who host interns. The Director, CAP, also has dotted-line management for CAP Managers and Advisors on each partner campus who work directly with students, pairing them with internship opportunities and serving as a local contact to nurture employer relationships and promote the organizations.

The Director, CAP, is a  skilled team player who can successfully lead the establishment of enriching internship experiences for international students, including accountability for all start-up and continuity details across all partners.

This position requires 30% travel (primarily domestic with limited international).

Essential Functions

The Director, CAP, provides strategic data-informed leadership partnering with campuses’ career centers and advising professionals, as well as faculty and other external stakeholders, to provide students with the guidance, resources, and opportunities needed to launch their professional lives. 

Strategy and Data Management

  • Develop key performance indicators, regularly monitor metrics, and use data to continually refine and improve the program to ensure the best experiences for students and employers
  • Lead and oversee developing, planning, organizing, marketing, and directing the delivery of CAP services
  • Explore avenues for increased collaboration across a network of career services offices to increase opportunities for students
  • Develop an account management approach to corporate relationships to increase the number of corporate partnerships in terms of industry, function, and geography

Program Management

  • Manage internship program operations, including ensuring systems and procedures are established and that on-the-ground teams, employers, and students have consistent operational processes and policies
  • Take overall responsibility for internship logistics and resolving workplace issues
  • Connect with campus leadership teams, key university partner staff, and Shorelight Education colleagues to establish trust and partnerships
  • Liaise with university career services divisions to ensure that existing services are leveraged and integrated, and that strong relationships are built between all career development resources for students
  • Create and manage full lifecycle internship recruitment process to scale to more than 5,000 international students annually
  • Ensure Career Accelerator elements of the Shorelight Signature Student experience are supported and delivered on all fully implemented program sites

Business Development

  • Secure new internship opportunities and cultivate and manage existing and new employer relationships to develop and implement long-term partnerships
  • Continually foster external relations and corporate partnerships to grow internship placement opportunities
  • Ensure that employer relationships and internship opportunities adhere to the high standards of Shorelight and the partner universities, and work to continuously improve the Career Accelerator and the internship experience

People Management

  • Recruit, develop, and retain team members to ensure productivity and engagement
  • Engage in talent management activities such as goal setting, performance evaluations, stay interviews, development planning, and ongoing feedback to develop team members and achieve organization goals
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and corrective action (when necessary) to team members
