Job Overview

The Enrollment Services Advisor (ESA) leads and executes our pre-arrival conversion activities in the Korea region.  Based in Seoul, the ESA works as part of a highly motivated professional team and is responsible for regional visa success and overall conversion and arrival of new students on campus.


A large proportion of this sales and service role is speaking with applicants, parents, and agents via online chat platform, email, and telephone daily.

 

Essential Functions

 

  •  I-20 and Visa Preparation
    • Collaborate closely with admissions, agents and recruitment for all confirmed students to ensure efficient completion of required documents to achieve I-20s for students
    • Provide a comprehensive visa preparation service to students and agents including regular presentations to agencies, sharing of tips and best practices, and mock interviews with students to achieve a 95%+ visa issuance rate
    • Track and analyze visa appointments, embassy processing times and student interview feedback to continuously enhance and adapt visa preparation according to current trends and insights
  •  Pre-Departure Process and Activity Management
    • Design, manage and facilitate an engaging and informative pre-departure concierge service for students, parents and agencies
    • Participate with the planning and implementation of pre-departure events (online and offline)
    • Ensure student’s financial obligations are met by facilitating payments of tuition and other associated fees before departure
    • Ensure agents/students and their families complete and submit pre-arrival forms and documentation to campuses, with a focus on the transportation form so campus teams can effectively manage the arrival process
    • Work with recruitment, students and agencies to ensure clarity on-time arrival of students to campus for orientation
    • Serve as the main point of contact for all sub-regional agents and students in the pre-arrival phase
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Provide key partner’s VIP service, including customized reports, regular update of student progress, and in agent office visits
    • Analyze data in order to provide ongoing weekly updates, reports and forecasts to the ES Manager and Regional team for all students
    • Be the point of information and clarity on all conversion activities and student status
    • Maintain a database of respective sub-regional students to track their status and progression to enrollment
  •  Stakeholder / Student Family Engagement and Management
    • Manage and maintain regional agent/student online enquiry platforms
    • Build a strong rapport with students, parents, channel partners, partner campus teams, admissions and any other key stakeholders
    • Maintain a database of assigned students to track their status and progress toward arrival
    • Act as key contact for the campus student services teams post arrival to help communicate with channel partners/parents to assist with any follow-on activities post enrollment (i.e. student attendance, performance etc.) 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Receive and initially process applications from the regional team in Southeast Asia
  • Organize and deliver files under the direction of the central Admissions office
  • Input data to the Shorelight CRM
  • Communicate directly with Shorelight representatives and agents when needed to complete application files
  • Other duties as directed by the Admissions Manager
  • Travel within Southeast Asia and the United States when required

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Southeast Asia region’s educational systems — Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam

Job Overview

The Enrollment Operations Specialist, University of Massachusetts, provides support to the admissions and student services operation of programs within the University of Massachusetts system including, but are not limited to, undergraduate and graduate programs at UMass Boston, UMass Dartmouth and hybrid transnational degree programs within UMass Amherst Global.

Reporting to the University Partnerships Director, University of Massachusetts, the Enrollment Operations Specialist is an energetic, detail-oriented individual who manages all admissions processing, as well as supports marketing, and international student services.   This position requires a self-directed individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The successful candidate is a strategic thinker who collaborates with internal staff to identify business needs, define admissions requirements, and enhance business and systems workflows to support the enrollment management for a diverse product portfolio.   He/she possesses the interpersonal and intercultural skills necessary to work closely with students, parents, program staff, and university administration.

  

Essential Functions

Relationship Management

  • Liaise with critical university personnel, including but not limited to VP of Enrollment Management, Graduate Admissions Directors/Assistant Deans, Primary Designated School Official

  • Participate in biannual evaluation of Localized Entry Requirements (LERs) and acceptable credentials with the intention of optimizing existing processes
  • Serve as the Admissions lead on internal and external committees and working groups on new program development and implementation, including definition of admissions criteria, policies, and operational processes
  • Assist coordination of recruitment trips/familiarization tours and other related recruitment activities

Admissions Data Management & Integrity

  • Review applications, transcripts, academic credentials and other documents required for international student admissions
  • Manage internal and external application data and document processing, including transfer to university SIS and CRM systems
  • Monitor and uphold service agreements (turnaround time) for all applicant profiles, including graduate, sponsored, and I-20 transfer students, as applicable
  • Develop and oversee enrollment management reports such as funnel reports that track incoming student cohorts
  • Develop, document, and communicate local campus policies related to admissions and enrollment management
  • Coordinate I-20 process with staff, including managing the shipment of I-20 student packets to field agents

Student Services

  • Assist in the development, promotion, and implementation of programs to support student retention and socialization/acculturation
  • Guide, prepare and motivate students to a successful undergraduate or graduate experience and degree completion

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in higher education, international education, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with international student transcript evaluation
  • 2+ years of work experience in higher education, international education, or related field
  • Experience with student data management and/or application systems, including Microsoft, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Sunapsis, or other related CRM systems

Job Overview

The Enrollment Operations Specialist supports the admissions and student services operation of programs at UOP International. 

This individual manages all admissions processing, supports marketing, and helps deliver international student services.
